We offer a variety of motorcycle tours that include a mix of asphalt and off-road tracks. Our tours vary in length, from some days to multi-week expeditions, and take you to some of the most beautiful and remote places.
Who can join one of your tours?
Our tours are open to anyone who is legally able to operate a motorcycle, has a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable riding on both asphalt and off-road terrain. We welcome riders of all skill levels and experience, but we do recommend that participants have a minimum of previous motorcycle experience. We also require all riders to have a valid motorcycle registration and insurance, and provide these documents before the tour. We also require all participants to have a valid medical insurance.
Do I need to have previous motorcycle experience to join one of your tours?
While it is not required and the tours are not overly complicated, we recommend that participants have a minimum of previous motorcycle experience and are comfortable riding on both asphalt and off-road terrain. If you are a beginner rider, we recommend taking a basic riding course before joining one of our tours. This will ensure you have the necessary skills to fully enjoy the tour and safely navigate the different types of terrain.
Do you offer motorcycle rental?
No, we do not offer motorcycle rental directly, but we partner with local motorcycle rental companies to provide our guests with a wide range of motorcycles to choose from. We can help you make the necessary arrangements and ensure that you have a motorcycle that is well-suited to your needs and preferences.
For the “Lost in Pyrenees” tour, check out PauTravelMoto or VivaMotoRent, both based in Barcelona.
Can I bring my own motorcycle on the tour?
Yes, it is possible to bring your own motorcycle on the tour and we encourage it. We do not have any restrictions on the type of motorcycle you bring, however, you should make sure it is in good working condition and appropriate for the type of terrain the tour will cover. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your own motorcycle so we can ensure you have all necessary information and support.
What is included in the tour price?
Our tour prices include the motorcycle rental, fuel, guide and support vehicle, accommodation, and most meals. Some tours may also include additional activities or excursions. Please refer to the individual tour page for detailed information on what is included.
What type of hotels do you use for your tours?
We carefully select our hotels to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Our hotels vary depending on the tour, but we typically use a combination of 3-star and 4-star hotels. We aim to provide comfortable and clean accommodation that reflects the local culture and atmosphere. Our hotels are chosen for their location, facilities and quality. Some of our tours may also include stays in more unique accommodation such as lodges, guesthouses, khaimas or camping.
How large are the tour groups?
Our tour groups vary in size, but generally range from 10 to 20 participants. This allows us to provide a more personalized and intimate experience for our guests.
Are your tours guided or self-guided?
Our tours are a combination of both guided and self-guided. We provide a tour guide who will lead the group and provide support throughout the tour. The guide will also provide information about the route, the places you visit, and the culture of the area. However, the tours also allow for flexibility and independence, allowing participants to ride at their own pace, make stops along the way, and explore on their own. This way you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Is it necessary to bring a GPS or mobile phone (bike charger and phone support) on the tour if we have a roadleader?
Even though we will have a roadleader during the tour, we still highly recommend bringing a GPS or mobile phone with a bike charger and phone support. We will provide you with GPX route files, which can be loaded into a GPS or mobile device. This will allow you to easily follow the route and navigate, even in case of unexpected events or if you prefer to ride at your own pace. Having a bike charger and phone support will ensure that your device stays charged throughout the day, so you can navigate safely.
Can I bring a pillion (passenger) on the tour?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a pillion on the tour. However, please keep in mind that the tour is designed for solo riders and some parts of the routes may not be suitable for riding with a pillion. Additionally, the pillion will need to pay the full tour price and provide their own riding gear. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pillion so that we can provide you with the necessary information and make the necessary arrangements.
What should I bring on the tour?
We will provide you with a detailed packing list before the tour, but in general, you should bring appropriate riding gear, including a helmet, gloves, boots, and a riding suit. You should also bring personal items such as clothing, personal items, etc. for the duration of the tour.
